When I asked, Grahamy told me that he and his Pooh pals were all playing at the top of the forest...
Demonstrating his unzipping skills...
And his "do it myself" removal of jacket technique...

Graham making a silly face and taking inventory of his baby clothes...
I spent this past weekend pulling out all the cartons, boxes and even (sigh) garbage bags full of Graham's old clothes. In preparation for Baby Roo, everything is now sorted by size and season and has been stored away in vacuum bags.
Grahamy loved the vacuum effect!
Grahamy in front of our new fridge. For an appliance, it's just about perfect!

AND BABY MAKES FOUR...

Today was a big day! I had my 18-week ultrasound this morning, which was an hour-long, high-tech, level II scan. Everything looks great for Baby #2!! We chose not to find out the gender, which has infuriated quite a few people, but helps to pass the time. I think BOY, Scott thinks GIRL, so let's just wait and see who's right. The official due date is June 24.
We have been calling this one Baby Roo, thanks to Graham's obsession with the Pooh stories.

Graham has been quite suspicious for a while, especially after Mommy's sickly first trimester, so we sat him down this evening and told him about the upcoming baby. He was momentarily interested, insisted that the baby will be a brother and not a sister, poked my belly a few times and then ran off to play.

DAY WITH NANA & PAPA

Grahamy and Nana building a Hundred Acre Woods in our living room, complete with houses for Pooh and all his friends... I forget the name of this game, but the goal is to tackle Papa!

Introducing Nana and Papa to our favorite Pooh Park!!!

Daddy shoots hoops and Grahamy throws frisbee all at the same time...

And Poohsticks of course...

Finally, one content kid!!!

Surprise! 2008 brought a rush of warm weather and we've been outside as much as possible! Here are some pictures from the last few days...

Graham chewing on his sleeve... a new habit we are blaming on Daddy since Scott was a sleeve-chewer as well!

Graham gathering Pooh sticks...

Our favorite little neighborhood park has a large creek and a rickety little bridge... perfect for playing Poohsticks!!!

CHRISTMAS PART 2

On December 27th, after a frenzied Christmas tree take-down, we packed up our car and headed to northern VA for a lengthy visit with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Missy, Aunt Lindsey and G.G. We all had such fun!!! Here are some pictures from our trip...
As soon as we arrived at 17621, Graham insisted on touring the property with Grandma. They started on the deck and wound all along the driveway and yard, visiting neighborhood dogs, meeting neighborhood kids and even seeing several deer.
Of course, Grandma takes a turn doing numbers with Grahamy!

Yummy french toast breakfast!!!

Grahamy and Grandpa heading downstairs to search for Cinnamon the kitty cat...

The Smithsonian has an overflow museum located near Dulles Airport, so we were able to check out some airplanes and space shuttles without actually traveling into D.C.

Checking out all the different colored planes...

Helicopters: A favorite!

Counting by 10's with Aunt Lindsey...

Reading Pooh Book with Grandpa...

and with Grandma...

Pats for Cinnamon!!!
