My grandmother, Grandma Janet as she was lovingly called, passed away a little over a week ago. She will be greatly missed. She had MANY extraordinary talents as well as a few quirky characteristics. And, she loved deeply and unconditionally. For the support and acceptance she so graciously lavished upon me, especially during my clunky and unsophisticated youth, I will be eternally grateful. Graham and I flew up to Ohio this past Tuesday (Scott met us later) and we stayed to visit with family until Friday. Traveling (pregnant) through airports with Graham, a stroller, a car seat and a backpack was an intense experience, but the trip was invaluable. Graham, who now refers to himself as my "travel-buddy," behaved fabulously the entire time. Not one single fit out of this kid!!! He truly rallied for me, listened well and played well with all his cousins. And ironically, the day we arrived in Ohio, a snowstorm tore through the Midwest. Grandma Janet despised the snow and at her memorial, even the minister joked that she had called to say she would not be coming to service due to the poor weather (her house was across the street from the church).
These snow pictures are from the Snow Day 1. I didn't actually stop to take pictures as the snow continued and continued and continued...

Cousins playing...

Graham entertaining himself with stickers as we wait for breakfast one morning...

Breakfast with Nana, Papa, Aunt Hannie, Graham and my Uncle David and Aunt Selwa...

A trip to the bookstore... and Curious George of course!

Graham loves Barnes and Noble because the kids section has Pooh murals on the walls... Here's Graham pointing out Rabbit and a few of Rabbit's Friends and Relations...

Jumping with joy!

A choo-choo train out to the car with Graham, Nana, Cousin Rosa and Aunt Hannie...

Grahamy and Rosa coloring together in Grandma Janet's apartment...

And finally, here's Grahamy in the airport during our 3 1/2 delay in Cleveland. After checking out the snow/ice covered runway, I was prepared to stay in a hotel for the night, but we managed to get out after only a few hours. Blankies did come out for a quick snuggle as you can see...

Still delayed... see all the snow back there???

COLLEGE FRIENDS

(Nick) Ketter, one of Scott's college buddies, brought his fiance Mandy up for the weekend. (Steve) Mosko, another one of Scott's college buddies, lives here in Charlotte with his fiance Michelle. So, here are some pictures we took at our local White Water Center.

Waiting for the train!

Heading downtown on an Expotition!!!
After our busy day, Graham fell asleep on the way home from the Lynx station. After we got him out of the car, he continued to snooze on Daddy for a little over an hour. Quite a feat for a little guy who gave up his nap months and months ago.
Obviously an impromptu picture (and an odd one at that), since I've half changed into my jammies... Nonetheless, here's Roo at 21-weeks. This is the first picture we've taken this time around. And, at the rate we're going, it most likely will be the only one you'll see for quite some time...
We've had some stunning weather lately! Here are some pictures from the park...
Grahamy poking our shadows with his stick...

Running back and forth between the soccer goals...

Just in time for a weekend walk, Graham decided to trade in his beloved old bike for his new Christmas bike. Here are lots of bike pictures...
The bell is definitely Bike's best feature!
Of course, Big Boy Bike still comes with a very handy handle, which is necessary for walks since Graham still only peddles from time to time, and then very hesitantly.

Of course, the Pooh Pals came along for our walk...
And on our way home, Piglet jumped out and helped ring the bell...
And finally, here are some pictures of Big Boy Push-ups...

Any excuse to jump on Daddy!!!
