Grahamy just finished his first week of soccer camp! He was lucky enough to take part in a Charlotte Eagles "Learn from the Pros" soccer camp this year, which was coached by our own professional men and women soccer players. He learned how to dribble, pass and shoot a ball and he even learned how to play a team game with one ball. The kids spent the week playing fun games, played on the playground and inside an inflatable bounce house, had art sessions and were constantly encouraged and loved. Grahamy is such a natural athlete, but it was wonderful to see that channeled into a team experience. Over all, he LOVED his coach, made several friends and thoroughly enjoyed the week. What a positive experience!!!

ROO TOO
Here's a sideways view of Jamie charging down the hall. He cruises on furniture, walls, windowpanes and legs, but he's still not walking on his own yet. We are not encouraging him much either though because he's already a total terror and we know our house will only fall into further decline when he figures out how to remain vertical most of the time! He is quickly nearing a year and his personality emerges more and more each day, as does a loud vocalization when something doesn't go his way. Unlike my sweet, neat Grahamy, Jamie loves to throw, nip, make loud noises/messes and he is a total dare-devil. How different two kids can be!
Tough choices: Which should I mouth first?
I think the boys were drumming together on this ball, so this truly is a sweet brother moment. These days, we're heading into some difficult sibling rivalry and more often than not, one or both ends up screaming...
