HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Graham's really enjoying his new table and chairs from Grandma and Granddad Mellon! Now he won't have to eat his snacks off a kitchen chair!!!

Of course Scott and I expect our son to be a book-lover, but we didn't mean for Graham to start reading "Siddhartha" before his first birthday!

My precious boy giving one of his many hugs... How lucky I am!

Graham's dessert!

Graham loves eating out with the family... especially when Mom packs his favorite meatloaf!!!

You came all the way from Hawaii to see me, right Aunt Lindsey?

Graham assumes that the entire Mellon clan gathers in Charlotte just to watch him play!
Checking out a choo-choo train with Grandma Mellon...

Graham's first soccer lesson...

Graham needs a little help on the steps at the playground...

Thanks to Baby Benadryl and a Hannie-like case of the chicken pox (meaning only a few spots), Graham is ready for family this weekend and a trip to Philadelphia next week. He will be quarantined from his friends until sometime next week, but his Dad will always play with him!!!

From this view, you can't see the CHICKEN POX!!! Graham has contracted chicken pox from a recently vaccinated friend or an unvaccinated stranger. He'll be fine of course, but the saga continues...

Graham's lying down to eat...

Here are the only pictures Graham would allow me to take of his pox... I'm still stunned that he has chicken pox!!!

Graham's a master mess-maker, but he's also learning to help pick up his own toys.

Graham loves playing ball with Dad!

After running in circles all day (both of us), we're happy... but exhausted!!!

Grahamy is the life of every party!

Graham is actually shaking his head "no" because he doesn't want to wear a party hat.

After an hour or more outside, Graham is begging to return to his yard...

Dad's home! Graham starts running and I have to put the camera down because he picks up speed quickly. Right before he gets to Scott, little G tangles his feet and falls. Luckily, he walks away with a scrape on his hand and nose. If we're home tomorrow afternoon, we'll be back!

Graham's pacing back and forth, watching the cars, talking to the neighbors and waiting for Dad to come home from work...
If you're ever here in Charlotte, don't be surprised if you see the three of us standing on the sidewalk by our house with a giant sign that says, "WILL WORK FOR BABY'S FOOD!" Graham is only 11-months old and is already an eating machine. We're considering calling up our USAA guys and asking if we can tag an extra Roth-IRA onto Graham's college fund. We might need to dip into it when he's 16 to pay the grocery bill.

After dinner and wipe-down, Graham disappears down the hall while I clean up the kitchen. After a while, I find him in his room reading to himself. I had to sneak up on him to take these pictures.

Graham finishes his whole serving of lasagna and all his cantaloupe and peas (though I forgot to take that picture until he was almost done).

Graham's portion of lasagna is on the plate. My portion (a smaller portion) is sticking out of the casserole spoon.

It's lasagna night and Graham is ready to eat (hence the impatient look on his face). We obviously feed this child -- look at him! Graham eats more than I do at a single sitting. And, I can prove it!

Graham loves the taste of music!

Different grass, different birds, different trees... Graham loves visiting friends!
