COLD WEATHER HAS ARRIVED!!!

The first blast of cold weather doesn't keep Graham from playing in the yard or taking his daily walk with Mama!

Thanks to our hill and the position of our house, it seems like all the acorns and leaves in the neighborhood end up in our yard. Graham finds this incredibly satisfying!

Sidewalk soccer replaces hall soccer...

The bigger the kids, the bigger the mess...

The rainy day doesn't even make Graham pause. He is ready to go and one step ahead of Mama!

WEEKEND WITH GRANDMOM AND GRANDAD MELLON

Grandmom and Grandad Mellon come for the weekend...
Boys in the hoods...

Riley Griffis, the five year old son of dear family friends, gives Graham his first official soccer lesson.
Sometimes Grahamy uses his stool to climb up on the sofa, but sometimes he just likes to sit on it!
Making silly faces at Grandad...
Graham immediately starts kicking his new football from Grandmom.
Tickle Monster!!!

Graham loves to show off for Grandmom and Grandad!

Graham loves to sit on the front stoop!
BEEP BEEP!!!
This is Graham's car and he is a ferocious driver...
Oh, he longs to be a passenger on a real school bus...
One more Kindermusik session... Graham's Kindermusik school was actually praised in a recent "Parenting" magazine!

Grahamy entertains himself by throwing acorns up our driveway and then chasing them as they bounce to the bottom. I didn't get any good pictures of him running back down the driveway because he picks up a lot of speed and I have to play "catcher."

A few recent shots of our soccer player in action...

Sunday visit with Nan, Maddy, Ganny, Gamps, Nana and Papa

Graham knows that keys are part of the good-bye routine, so we always get the keys out when we're preparing to leave or say "good-bye." It helps him mentally prepare for a ride in the car. Plus, he is the keeper of the keys until his seatbelt is fastened and he likes having his own duty. He is such a big boy!

Grahamy's in his jammies and making his final rounds before we make the drive back home. He's most likely saying, "bye-bye, Nana" and "bye-bye, Papa" right about now!

Grahamy's playing "giddy-up" on Dad's knee while Ganny pulls the reins...
By mid-day, Graham was belting out "Mad" (for Maddy) and "Nan," chasing after his cousin and barely aware of his Mom or Dad's presence. Best friends!
Someone's happy to be Center of Attention!!!
Cousin Maddy and Grahamy share their love of goats! Maaawwww!!!!
Maddy and her favorite goat...
Of course, as soon as Graham discovers dirty water, his interest in the goats fades. Water tops goats.
The girls gabbing...
Graham loves his cousin Maddy!!!

Maddy and Grahamy sharing a story...
Hmmm... Lemons or balls?

Welcome October!

Graham picked out his own little pumpkin at the market the other day and takes great pride in it!
