Grahamy still loves Curious George! He is especially fond of a story where Curious George visits a fire station and ends up with his very own fire helmet. We found this helmet the other day and Grahamy now refers to himself as a "brave little monkey!"

He's primping in front of my full-size mirror...
Grahamy finishing up his snack before we went to vote...
Grahamy helped me vote and was quite excited to discuss the process. He is finally old enough to "sort of" understand.

Changing the sheets always takes a while because Grahamy loves to smell the clean sheets, help me shake them and jump around on the bed...

Grahamy started working on his train set early one morning...
And kept at it periodically throughout the day...

Just a couple silly pictures...

Here's Graham wearing his medal like Curious George (it came with one of his books). It's a struggle to get it off him right now...

Little Mozart...

And for the moms... Here's Roo at 32 weeks...

We spent a good part of today at Latta Plantation, which is located just a few miles north of Charlotte. It's a circa 1800 cotton plantation with a real farm. Graham loved the chickens! After conversing with the chickens for quite some time, we finally toured the rest of the farm...

Mooing at the cow...
Pointing out the horses...

An old-timey buggy...
A real well and bucket! Grahamy wanted to see it in operation of course...
A cottage with lanterns, wooden bowls and a real bed. Grahamy claimed it as his own.
An OWL shirt from cousin Maddy... it's already in rotation!!! Thanks to the Schneiders!!!
And here's a picture of Grahamy and Kelsey, our wonderful babysitter. Kelsey was my dad's student in Asheville and is now attending Queens here in Charlotte. Sadly, she is home for the next few months (remember summer breaks?), but we're eagerly awaiting her return. And, we'll be +1 more at that time...

EVEN MORE PARK PICTURES...

Graham now climbs the "fireman ladder" all by himself!

This little girl really wanted to play with Grahamy and she even followed him into his hiding place. Pretty funny!

Here are some weekend pictures. We spent a lot of time on Saturday and Sunday working in our yard. Graham was such a big help! He especially enjoyed tossing around the pine straw...

Look where we found Grahamy on Sunday afternoon... I'm pretty sure he exceeds the weight limit on this bassinet, so we pulled him out right after I snapped this picture.
Graham loves to walk around in BIG shoes!
Messing around with Daddy...

Saturday morning at the coffee shop...

And a couple from last week... Graham still loves his little sandbox, especially when he gets to add water to the mix!
