SCHOOL SHOTS

Graham's preschool teacher, Mrs. Newell, sends us pictures of the classroom activities from time to time. Here are a few pictures of the kids being pirates.

ROO'S COO

Jamie had his 4-month apt. yesterday and his stats look terrific! For the grandparents, he weighs 14 lbs., 13 oz. (50%) and measures 24 1/2 in. (25%). He is meeting all his developmental milestones and couldn't be more of a blessing! Even Grahamy considers him his "best friend," and in Grahamy's world, that means a lot!

WE SURVIVED HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION!!!

In our house, we don't "do" Halloween! When Jamie gets a little older, this might change, but for now, we are glad to say good-bye to all the costumes, the songs about green monsters and the strangers knocking on our door. But, we like cats, bats and pumpkins, so in honor of the end of Halloween, the boys dressed up in Halloween jammies and took pictures together.

READING BIRD BOOK FOR NANA

Grahamy wanted to make a video for Nana since they both love birds so much. I just had to stop recording after a minute or so...

WE VOTED!!!

Please vote! Even if you disagree with my politics, stand up for what you believe and please vote! As Americans, we have such a responsibility to make our voices heard and perpetuate a strong voting ethic in our own families. In my family, national politics and local issues have always been dinner conversation and voting is considered a family value. Scott and I both had great role models as we grew up and we intend to raise our boys with the same approach. We talk, we take the issues seriously and we encourage our kids to be involved.

This is truly the best of several pictures I took inside the early voting precinct. Grahamy was in a very silly mood, exacerbated by the long lines, the basketball nets (we were in a gym) and the excitement. Both boys are wearing their stickers though!
We showed up at our early voting precinct 30 minutes before it opened and still had to wait in line. Luckily, Daddy and Grahamy found a frisbee in the car and amused themselves while we waited.
Silly boys first thing in the morning...

PHOTO FRENZY

Grahamy was invited to Anderson's "petting-zoo" themed birthday party yesterday and rode on a REAL horse! He was ecstatic!!! Nan, we're counting down the months...

Grahamy and Grant petting a calf...
The bunnies got tons of attention of course...

Here's Grahamy riding Daddy while waiting for his turn on the horse...

Roo sucking and snoozing during the party of course...

Grahamy and I made a cake earlier in the day... and here, he's feasting on the frosting!!!

FOUR MONTHS OLD!!!
But he's always going to be my baby!!!

Friends, JC and Greta came over for the afternoon...
Greta is 2 weeks older than Jamie and quite the little tease...
Grahamy reading to the babies...
Little sprite!

My big boy and my little boy!
I went in to get Jamie after his nap one afternoon and Grahamy jumped right into the crib... Jamie was sort of surprised at first but then the two of them rolled around for a bit...

I love this picture because Jamie is sitting on my Ganny's chair, next to a pillow she made me last year and another pillow she helped me make. Jamie never met Ganny, but she would have loved him and sometimes I feel her here. Grahamy often says that he misses her and I know that she's watching out for us... especially my boys!
