WEEKEND

While this does look a little like a sword fight, rest assured, Grahamy simply discovered that he could turn his "telescopes" into instruments. Jamie found this a most delightful game!!!
Happy little Roo!!!

Papa came up for a 24-hour visit, partly to visit the boys and partly because he was enticed by the Charlotte 1/2 Marathon. Grahamy and I took the Lynx up the the finish line on Saturday morning and then we all walked around for a while before heading home to lunch. Sadly, I neglected to take many pictures...
Papa playing with the boys after his early morning run...

After riding the Lynx, Grahamy decided to build his own monster train station!!!

Daddy and Jamie "working" on the couch together one morning...

Grahamy building a magnet "barn" for his horses, Froggie and Blankie of course...

CHRISTMAS IS COMING TO TOWN

OUR DADDY

We know a lot of extraordinary dads, but I'm going to brag about our daddy for just a moment. He could spend his spare time plastered in front of the TV, out with friends or in the yard. But instead, he relishes his time with his boys. No one makes Roo smile in quite the same way and no one plays with Graham like Daddy!!! He changes diapers, makes bottles and romps around like a 3 1/2 year-old better than anyone else in the world. I'm biased of course, but I can't imagine a better playmate, friend, role-model or daddy for my two boys! We love you Daddy!!!

Jamie is just over 5 months old and time is flying!!! He still can't quite sit without help, but he can support himself on his legs for quite some time. He is also quite eager to get moving, especially since he sees toys EVERYWHERE as motivation!!! Here are a bunch of pictures I took the other day and I think he looks just like his Papa in them...

We get this face all the time, but still NO teeth!!!

Our house has been GERMY lately!!! Right after Thanksgiving, the boys all ended up with a stomach virus. Graham actually spent an entire day in his jammies, which is quite uncharacteristic for my scheduled boy! But, we're slowly mending and we're looking forward to getting our Christmas tree this weekend!!!
Graham hunkered down in his room, playing with his animals and taking pictures of Zebra, Giraffe and Elephant... Who are also "pretend friends" as well!!!
A close-up of the trio...
Grahamy reading "Pooh" in his special spot... the top bunk! We don't even have a mattress up there yet because he's not allowed to sleep up there until he's six. Therefore, he has to be extra careful when he climbs up to read.
Every boy deserves some privacy!!!

THANKSGIVING

We celebrated Thanksgiving this year at Aunt Melissa's new house. Grandma and Grandpa met us in Winston-Salem and we all enjoyed the good food and good company. I managed to take fewer pictures than normal (for me) due to all the chaos caused by the kids. Even though the day has passed, let me just say how incredibly thankful we are! Scott and I feel truly blessed!!!
Grandpa and Roo...
Aunt Missy and Roo...
Grahamy getting his first glimpse of Aunt Melissa's new video game, a foreign concept to him before Thanksgiving...
Grahamy reading on Aunt Missy's computer.
Grahamy's music station at Aunt Missy's house...
Sucking his thumb like Baby Jamie...
Daddy and Grandpa boxing with the new video game... Grahamy was quite amused and thought they were dancing!
Grahamy learning how to play golf (sigh)...
And playing all by himself...
One yummy little babe!!!
The boys "sharing" Grahamy's yellow ball.
Holding hands and being silly... Though, I'm not sure Jamie gets the joke...
